8 Top Sales Email Subject Lines for a Home Run in 2018

My last post was a hit, so I wanted to share the wealth on some of my greatest email subject lines to help pop off your revenue in 2018!

SPAM rules the world, hopefully your potential client hasn’t blacklisted you already with your awful pitch. Lol.  Before you prospect your websites, you have to vet it thoroughly to make sure they would benefit from the product or service you offer.  Then you need to make sure the person you connect with is the right person to decide on running with your product or service.

There are many different theories on the different email subject lines that get your potential client to open it, but the main email really is where you have to create and display your relevance and how your product is going to make them soar!

I have tested many different subject lines, but at the end of the day you have to ask yourself, ‘how is this person/company going to win by working with me?’

Below are the top subject lines I have tested with the best open rates.  This won’t guarantee your success however if your client would really benefit from your product or service, they should at least open your email and NOT put you on their SPAM list with the following subject lines:

  • 10 mins — Friday?
  • New exciting opportunity
  • How’s my timing?
  • Free Idea’s
  • Checking in?
  • Invite
  • Exclusive Invitation
  • [your company] + [their company]

What are your favorite subject lines?  What have you seen work best?

The main factors in closing the sale are plentiful, I would say that if you are lucky enough to get a response or call, make sure you listen to the potential client, ask questions about them and their issues on your products or services and what they do or don’t like about their current situation.  I wouldn’t rehearse bullet points ever, but remember all the benefits and get ready for them to ask a lot of questions on your services including the cost model, time frame of service, key people involved in your product or service, next steps that need to be taken, benefits if their is an expected outcome, and more.

A few other tips, don’t bullshit your potential client.  Don’t lie, don’t make small talk, don’t let them know about you.  This email is all about them, and how you are helping them take their business to the next level.  Sorry, they don’t care about your awesome weekend, so don’t bring it up.

If you are looking for advice, or have questions on the process, feel free to put your troubles below and I can try to help.  My father was a salesperson and very good at it, so I was able to learn from him growing up, but also learned by doing and experimenting different tactics.

If you put your mind to it, and put your customer first, you can do it!

Have a great weekend!

2018 New Year Goals

peaceout

4 more days until New Year’s Day! 2017 will be over and done with, commencing a new beginning in 2018!  I am off from my day job until January 2nd, so this is a great time for me to reflect on my 2017 progress and failures and come into 2018 with new goals and strategies to achieve what I want to accomplish this year!

Being a mom, wife, co-worker, business partner and woman, I have many different roles to fill, and want to make sure I make goals for each hat I wear so that I can achieve greatness in each.  It is hard to balance everything, so having clear goals really helps.  Some use vision boards which can be even more effective in hitting your goals.  Being in my mid-thirties I feel as if I need to set lofty goals to get where I need to be before I turn 40.

Here goes nothing, 2018 goals and deadlines:

mom

As a mother, I would like to achieve the following with my boys:

  1. Have them fully potty trained by end of March.
  2. Have them reading Mickey Mouse books on their own by end of March.
  3. Get tutoring for them before TK, or pre-Kindergarten, to make sure they are on the same playing field as the other children.  This will be before March too.
  4. Have them clearly speaking sentences and responding politely with please and thank you always.
  5. Have them sleeping through the night without coming into mom and dad’s room.  Better to be independent here.

wife

As a wife, I would like to achieve the following:

  1. Cook dinner at least 4 times a week and learn something new that my husband likes.
  2. Be sexy at least 3 times a week.
  3. Support my husband and his acting career as much as possible.
  4. Support him in joining new acting groups to help expand his network.

coworkers

As a co-worker, I would like to achieve the following:

  1. Encourage my fellow co-workers to be their best daily.
  2. Be friendly and helpful.
  3. Be enthusiastic and positive.

business partner

As a business partner, I would like to achieve the following:

  1. Blog as often as possible, minimum 3 times weekly to further build my blog.
  2. Partner with other websites to support their content.
  3. Get 1,000 articles in by end of year.
  4. Learn something new technically to enhance my site and others.
  5. Dress professionally every day, nothing wrinkled.

woman

As a woman, I would like to achieve the following:

  1. Do my hair nice as to not look like a wet headed troll when I enter the outside world.
  2. Do my makeup, again to not look like a tired troll.
  3. Keep up with the Whole30 diet.
  4. Get to a healthy weight, 155 pounds preferably by end of March.
  5. Walk 2 miles a day or swim in the pool.

What are some of your goals and achievements that you would like to accomplish this year?  Having clear set goals should really help improve your chances of hitting your goals this year!  I would say make sure your daily routine includes little steps to hitting the goal.  As for 2018, remember to take care of yourself, keep your head up, brush off the haters and kick ass!

4 Fun & Easy Ways to Make Money at Home via these Websites

Everyone wants to live the dream and be there own boss!  Enough of corporate politics, managing fussy co-workers or commuting into work.  Making money should be easy, and this article will help you earn money from the comfort of your own home.

  1. Tradesy.com – Remember that old dress in your closet that you wore at your best friends wedding that you swore you would wear to every wedding for the next few years?  Yes, it is still in your closet, collecting dust, and no, you have not worn it since your best friends wedding.  Sell it on Tradesy.com already!   Tradesy has sellers from all over the world from the most sophisticated closets to the boring regular old basic closet, but ever so needed.  I swear by this site and only purchase “new” clothes from this site as to not pay full price for any designer brand dress, sweater, suit, bag, shirt, pants, skirt or shoes.  You get my drift!?
  2. Ebay.com – Same concept here, however this is not limited to selling clothes, shoes and bags!  You can sell anything on Ebay.com and have the users bid for your unused household items that would be of use to the buyer!  You can set the base floors of the product and then the site creates an auction where the highest bidder wins.  You can also set it so that instead of bidding the highest you can just buy it out.  There are many options here and many people selling so you should try and make sure that your pricing is competitive and set to sell, but also make sure that it is priced to make yourself a nice profit!
  3. Shutterstock.com – Are you a great photographer?  Do you have the eye for that great shot that no one else can get?  Try selling your photos on Shutterstock.com and make a profit of anywhere from $0.25 to $0.75!  You will be happy you did!  Sign up today!
  4. Esty.com – This is the go-to site for all those crafty ladies and gents out there!  My cousin handmakes leotards and other costumes for children and makes over $4 a year!  She created her own products and store at Etsy, sponsored her items to be bought and posted them on her Facebook.com account so that her friends would buy too!  I have seen so many creative products on here, from candles, soaps, necklaces, clothing, furniture, paintings and so much more!  This site is also great for unique and thoughful gifts.  Check it out!
