When I found out that I could still have sweets and paleo snackypoos, I was super pumped to find all the natural ingredients to sweeten desserts. There are also paleo compliant baking flours that you can mix, beat, and stir to make some delicious goodness.

INGREDIENTS

Pie Crust

2 cups of Birch Benders Paleo Pancake + Waffle Mix

1 egg

1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk

1/4 cup of coconut oil

Topping // Filling

3 finely chopped red apples with skin on

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg

1/4 cup of raw honey

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, and make sure you don’t leave any pans in there before you turn it on. Did that, immediately regretted it.

Take out your aluminum pie pans and set aside.

Mix the pie crust ingredients in a bowl until smooth then smush into the pie pan. Set aside.

Take another bowl and mix all the filling ingredients together. Pour on top of pie crust then place in the oven for 30-35 minutes.

Wallah! You have a beautiful apple cake to munch on all day! If you want to get jiggy with it, add in some crushed walnuts and raw honey on top.
