Oh how I love cookie dough! Being on the paleo diet has really transformed my body. Although I really love sweets, I have discovered sweets that are naturally sweetened and really delicious that still hit the spot when my craving kick in.
Cookie dough always gives me great memories of growing up and baking with my grandma and aunties. They really loved to bake with us. The best part of the activities were licking the blender sticks that had the left over cookie dough on it.
I vote that eating cookies are not as fun as eating the dough itself.

Because of this we have come up with a paleo friendly recipe to make some easy cookie dough that you can eat right out of the bowl.
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup of almond butter
1/2 cup of maple syrup
2 teaspoons of coconut oil
2 tablespoons of arrowroot powder
1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips
1 teaspoon of vanilla
DIRECTIONS
Mix the almond butter, vanilla and maple syrup together first.
Little by little add in the coconut oil and arrowroot powder.
Once fully blended add the vanilla.
At the end, fold in the mini chocolate chips.
ENJOY!
This is a great afternoon or post dinner dessert to indulge in.
