It never rains in Southern California statement may have rang true at some point – until tonight!
It gleefully and unexpectedly starting raining here in Los Angeles tonight. Although rain is more common on the east coast of the US, hearing a new rainfall is always a wonderful surprise especially when you live so close to the dry desert.
Not only is the rainfall good for the forever desert drought status in California, but the rainfall is good for mother nature’s good old natural acoustics that can ring you right back to sleep and rock you straight to bed.
I made this 5-minute homemade video for myself, just because I enjoy the sound of rain when I want to relax. I find that when I take off 5-minute breaks at home, I become more relaxed. The rain helps me meditate and readjust. Since I am in the comfort of my own home, I can really appreciate being warm and toasty inside.
