7 Healthy Sugar Substitutes to Use Instead of Regular Sugar | Leverage Ambition

Sugar is a beast. You only really understand how bad sugar is for you when you decide to remove it from your diet.

When I stopped eating sugar, I found out how much sugar is in our food. Walking down the aisles of the supermarkets was overwhelming and tough to navigate. Most all processed foods have sugar in them but there is a better way!

  1. Really good idea, Stacy, avoiding the sugar that seems to overwhelm just about everything.

My favorite is palm sugar, which probably is the same thing as coconut sugar, right? Anyway, it’s a big ingredient in Thai and in other nearby cuisines, all of which I love.

When I use palm sugar (which is more “authentic” too), not only does it allow me to be pretentious, but it’s healthier! Win-win, huh?
