Really good idea, Stacy, avoiding the sugar that seems to overwhelm just about everything.
My favorite is palm sugar, which probably is the same thing as coconut sugar, right? Anyway, it’s a big ingredient in Thai and in other nearby cuisines, all of which I love.
When I use palm sugar (which is more “authentic” too), not only does it allow me to be pretentious, but it’s healthier! Win-win, huh?
