Both internally and externally we tell ourselves certain narratives that we embrace.
My number one pet peeve is people complaining.
Mainly due to the fact that they have the power to change, but they continue to keep themselves stuck in an infinity rut that was created by none other than themselves.
How can you stop conplaining?
Here’s a test.
Try going 15 minutes without complaining with both your internal and external voices.
If you failed the test, start with 1 minute.
If you still fail, grab a piece of paper and make a homemade dunce cap and sit in the corner for a minute.
Now try again.
Our state of mind and the narratives we tell ourselves dictate how we feel, and eventually who we are.
