There are many different ways to change your mindset. Tony Robbins and other spiritual leaders out there always talk about mindset and how it is the most powerful way to help spawn creativity to help you live your best life.
The flip side of happiness and fulfillment is and sadness and worthless that can produce anger When I am angry, I like to binge eat, cry or have imaginary fights with imaginary people. It’s the name of the brain game.
My kids taught me that I have to have SUPER FLEX thinking. This means that I should not be stubborn but be more open to doing things different ways than the way I think today. Today I am a middle aged mother and a badass. I need to think creatively in order to book more business.
Blogging is a fun way for me to express my anger but also come up with new ideas to help me and the global World Wide Web. Every website starts with www and that is the acronym used to populate every website. Now with applications you do not redirect to a website, you are in a closed ad server that allows companies to build more awareness for their customers. I do not have an app for my site yet.
Back to the anger topic. I know I need to take a break, meditate, write, or call a family member or friend to feel better about my anger. I am a pro at stuffing my resentments inside and then bringing them up when it is too late. As many of us know it is easy to get caught up in life’s daily chores and responsibilities. It is easy to Recognize that we need to take a breath and do some relaxing breathing.
When I breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 2, then breathe out for 4 seconds it helps me visualize the now. It calms me down. Anger can be healthy but can also be destructive. It is important to recognize when you are angry earlier.
If you are already yelling at someone because of your anger, you have already lost the battle. Visualizing a more relaxing environment may help. It is okay to get angry but there is a right and wrong way to express it. Yelling or physical abuse is not appropriate behavior. The consequences of anger could be fatal to either you or you could hurt someone else in a state of rage. Road rage kills. It is best to pull over and relax.
Changing up your mindset works well too. You can change up your mindset by deep breathing techniques. Breathing in and out slowly can calm the body, mind and spirit. My mind works better when I exercise. Cortisol is produced when you are stressed out. Exercise daily for even a 20 minute walk can help to improve your outlook on life. There are also many 12-step support groups out there that can be explored along with therapy if you need it.
Sometimes we all need a break or timeout. My timeouts consist of simple things, like taking a warm bath, using my heated massage chair, and brushing my hair. Think of things that make you feel relaxed. It could be as simple as closing your door and being in a room alone for private time. all of these are basic skill sets to help improve your mindset while suggesting difference techniques to help you feel more productive and hopeful.
