5 Ways to Build Mental Toughness | Leverage Ambition

Times are tough, but your mind needs to be tougher.

It is time to rise above your excuses. It is time to train yourself for success.

Here are 5 ways to practice your mental confidence. If you practice this daily you will become unstoppable. You will be able to rise above your feelings to hit your commitments.

  1. Get up early, and get out of bed. Don’t hit the snooze button. Ignore your feelings of laziness. Rise early and be positive.
  2. Make your bed as soon as you get up. It’s the last thing you feel like you need to do, but it is a small accomplishment or win to be organized, disciplined, and precise.
  3. It’s time to workout. Pump out 30-50 push ups, 50 sit ups, run a mile, walk around the block 5 times. It is imperative to get your body moving.
  4. Once your work day is over, you need to study. You do things that are difficult until they become easy. Once it becomes a habit, you’ve created the preparation for success. You train yourself to rise above your feelings and do above and beyond.
  5. Eat something you don’t like regularly. Vegetables, fruits, certain types of protein, and anything that you can nourish your body to make it perform at its optimal level.
