If you are reading this, you most likely have been betrayed by a liar. Some people are white liars, where they lie about small details often and rarely get caught. Some people are pathological liars, and could be influenced by money, power, fame, or drugs.

Either way, it is important to trust your instincts and do your due diligence to catch the person in the act.

The best part about these liars is they have a compulsion to lie. Whether is be for fun to see if they can get away with it, or do it to betray others they may pretend to like and care about but really want to run them over.

Here are some signs you are dealing with scumbags that lie, cheat, and steal to get their way.

They repeat words and phrases again and again to get you and others to believe it.

They itch, fidget, stand very still or cock their head differently in order to prove their point.

The persons eyes have an odd gaze away from you as they speak.

The person has a momentary hot spot or momentary conflict between what is being communicated verbally and what is being presented nonverbally (e.g., assuring someone you don’t feel angry with them while clenching your jaw and raising your voice).

The persons breathing rate, perspiration, pulse, or blood pressure is noticeably higher than before.

Tone, cadence, and sentence structure are erratic and repetitive.

Have you been lied to before? How did you catch the person in a lie?
