Just got back from a much needed vacation in Lake Arrowhead this week, and I fell off the wagon. The sugar wagon that is!

I had a slice of pizza and a spicy watermelon margarita, AND THEY WERE DELICIOUS!

Back home now and back to reality where I am writing and getting back into the groove.

I organized the kids school supplies and set them up in their bedroom with work stations.

I ordered headphones, laptops, pencils, notebooks, erasers, pencil sharpeners, everything typically needed for the new school year.

Haven’t heard from our new teachers yet, but going with it!

In the meantime I noticed I felt really tired and groggy when we came back, so time to start another round of Whole30 to detox off of the sugar bugs!

Today I had a banana and a Key Lime Pie Larabar, and coffee is on the way! My favorite, Dunkin Donuts!

Dunkin Donuts literally saved me when I had kids and worked simultaneously, especially during the first few years.

Working in NYC was no joke too. Salary wasn’t phenomenal but we made a living!

As we build our nest egg, it is important to take care of ourselves as humans and humans.

Mental health and balance is good to keep your peace, and meditation when you can is helpful.

Other ideas for awareness are dancing to music in your room, meditation videos, positive energy videos, removing negative energy videos, and set your boundaries with your family.

As a woman and mother you want to do everything for your family, however you need to take care of yourself first.

So taking care of your needs, setting boundaries when you feel frustrated, or working on yourself should not exhaust guilt like feelings.

We all have a false notion of feeling guilty when we cannot validate others needs, however taking care of ourselves is first.

Respecting your own boundaries and taking a stand of self mastery is the key.

So the way I am doing it today is by doing another round of Whole30 and detoxing from the sugar bugs.
