Although I was never diagnosed with Celiac Disease like my sister, I do have issues when I eat foods with gluten. Not being able to have bagels as a native New Yorker is the worst. It’s almost as bad as not being able to have a margarita in Mexico. It’s just hard, man.
Since white flour is way out of the question, I have always wanted a list of gluten-free grains that I can reference whenever I am out at the supermarket grocery shopping. I try to eat flour here and there, but I always regret it. Not only does it make me feel sluggish and tired, but it also quickly packs on the pounds and makes me constipated. Sorry for the TMI (that acronym stands for too much information, player).
